MEET KELLIE
Kellie Blanco is a compassionate—and independent—Private Wealth Manager who cares deeply about her clients. Kellie is motivated by the opportunity to help clients understand, and then navigate the complex world of investments. She has spent over 24 years honing her skills, working for highly reputable institutions including Bank of America and Wells Fargo. In 2015, Kellie started her own wealth management practice. The reason: Kellie wanted to put herself in a position where she could recommend financial solutions that she believed were the right fit for clients specific needs.
Kellie always strives to be the best she can possibly be at whatever she does, including financial planning. That’s why she invested significant time and effort to earn the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®). In fact, the CFP® designation sets her apart from many other financial advisors. As a result, her clients develop the confidence and comfort of knowing their investments are carefully looked after by a well-trained, knowledgeable financial planner.
Kellie’s investment philosophy is straight forward; clients who follow a well-thought-out plan—tailored to their goals—can find success in an uncertain financial world. She takes the time to understand each client, their past investment experience, as well as their beliefs about spending, saving, and investing money. This holistic approach and desire to educate the clients is what sets Kellie Blanco apart from other financial planners.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a mother of two daughters, Kellie believes education is what gives investors the confidence to stick to their plan and not get caught up in subconscious, self-defeating beliefs about money. Teaching financial education and helping people heal their money trauma is one of Kellie’s favorite aspects of being a financial advisor. As a Private Wealth Manager she focuses on the emotional and financial needs of her clients and their families. Kellie gives clients the tools they need to grow and live financially independent lives.
After graduating from the University of Iowa with a BA in Psychology, Kellie began her career as a banker for Bank of America. She later found her niche as a financial advisor with Banc of America Investments. With a move to Texas in 2006, Kellie joined Wells Fargo Advisors and began to grow her practice in Austin. After advising clients of top US banks for 15 years, Kellie transitioned her practice to an independent advisory platform in an effort to provide more personalized solutions.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING Kellie achieved her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation through a rigorous testing process while completing coursework through The American College. She is FINRA Series 7 & 66 securities-licensed.
